How long will it take to receive my order?

It can take up to 7 days to make a blanket, although it’s usually less.  That may seem like a long time, and indeed it would be if we were shipping an in-stock product.  Our blankets are carefully handmade individually here in Toronto and require time to produce.  The heirloom quality of our blankets reflects the time and care we spend to make them perfect.  We work hard to get our blankets out quickly and are proud to be well ahead of the standard 4-6 weeks required for ordering most personalized products. 

Once your blanket is made, shipping times vary depending on where you are and what shipping option you select at check out. Most orders in the GTA are received the next business day, while orders to the US can take 7-10 days. Be sure to choose the shipping option that works best for you, with the understanding there may upwards of a 7-day lead time for production.

How much does shipping cost?

It depends on the shipping options you. Please add the items you’d like to your cart, and continue to checkout to see your options for timing and prices.

What about international orders?

You will also have several shipping options available to you. But please note, the most economical option “Small Packet International Air”, does not include tracking and insurance and therefore in that case we cannot be held accountable for lost or stolen packages.

Do you include receipts in your packages?

Nope! Most of our orders are gifts, and therefore we do not include receipts in any of our packages.

Can I change the size, colours, or design of a blanket?

Unfortunately we don't allow changes to the designs. This is for a few reasons. The first is that we make the blankets in large volumes ahead of time to allow for faster turnaround time. As such, we rarely have the materials on hand to make custom blankets.  The other reason is that we've spent a long time on each design to have a finished product that we love. Altering colours of the blanket may make the blanket look less beautiful (and we wouldn't want to send you something that wasn't beautiful) and it can be difficult to tell what will work until the blanket has actually been made. So we hope you can find something in our collection that you love.

Can you add accents to a name?

Absolutely! Include the accent in the name when you place your order. You can also add extra instructions in the notes section at checkout.

I received a blanket and the name is spelled incorrectly. Can you fix it?

We can make a change to the blanket, but it normally requires pulling up the whole name and re-sewing the to get the layout right. We charge a $15 fix fee for this, as it's a time-consuming process.  The imprint of the first name may show up, but it will be fine after it is washed once.

You would be responsible for getting it to and from our office - either in person or by mail. We’re happy to return it to you by mail at our standard shipping rate. Corrections to blankets usually take 2-3 weeks, plus shipping time.

We would happy to get in touch with the gift sender to let him/her know about the situation, so that there is no cost to you.  Of course if we made the error on your blanket, we apologize and will certainly fix it for you free of charge.

I received 2 blankets for my child. Can I return one?

Many people enjoy having more than one blanket, as it’s convenient to have an extra blanket in the car, crib, daycare, Grandma's house etc . But if you’re certain you only want one, we can offer you two options: 

We can remove the name currently on the blanket and put a different name on it so you can give it to someone else.  We charge a $15 fix fee for this.  The imprint of the first name may show up, but it will be fine after it is washed once.

You can return the blanket. When we're able to re-sell it we can offer you a store credit. This could happen quickly, or it may take a long time.

In either case you would be responsible for getting it to and from our office - either in person or by mail.

I want to order a blanket for somebody, but I want to make sure they haven’t already received one…

We're not set up to automatically screen for duplicate orders as it can be very difficult to tell where a blanket will end up, as some people have the order shipped to themselves, while others ship directly to the recipient. We certainly do our best to spot duplicate orders - particularly if a purchaser asks us to.  With that said, many customers may choose to still send the same gift as many people like to have an extra blanket in the car, crib, daycare, Grandma's house etc.

Can you make a donation to our fundraiser?

Thanks very much for thinking of us for your event. Since we receive so many requests for donations we’ve found it best to make a charitable plan and follow it, and we are fully charitably committed at this time.
